The ongoing battle between Pete and KILLEMALL waged on, with KILLEMALL"S family, PETES-A-FOOL, exchanging blows continuously throughout the round with Pete's family, KILLEMALL-IS-A-TOOL (don't know about anyone else, but I am definitely feeling the love right there between those two!) and also TD.

The only family really to make a move early as far as building and collecting was Mercs, which saw them sitting comfortably on top of the leaderboard for the majority of the round.  It wasn't really until the last day that we actually saw any major moves from any of the families. In the last twelve hours of the round, it seemed that everytime you refreshed the global leader board there was another person building, and it was then it became obvious that it was all going to come down to the last few hours and minutes.

In the last hour it was a race between Pete (named Uhlinger last round) and KILLEMALL. with Mercs still looking threatening.  Nets were growing at a major rate and all eyes were watching as the final minutes ticked by.  There can only be one winner, however, and as the last seconds passed by it was Pete that came out on top, winning himself, the $1700 jackpot.  As well as Pete's first placed family, TD also took fifth family spot, and 7 individual ranks including Little_Caesar first in level 2. Looky also took first place in the free kills with 6.7 million kills.

After the round was over Pete had the following to say:

"JUST LIKE TO SAY A BIG THANKS TO ALL MY TD PEOPLE..HAVE STUCK WITH ME THROUGH ALL THE WARS ALL THE TIMES I LEAVE AHAHHA

I ASKED FOR HELP AND I SURE GOT IT..THAT WAS ONLY ON 2 DAYS NOTICE TOO..MY GUYS STEPPED UP AND BIG..PEOPLE WERE ASKED TO BE ON LAST 2 HOURS AND THEY ALL SHOWED...GREAT GREAT GROUP

ALSO WANNA GIVE A SPECIAL THANKS TO SMOOTH,ALCHEMIST,TABBY,MRSNOOB,RAY,TACTICS,PETEY-CLOWN,SMIRK,FOXY,MAFFEOSO ...LIL CEASER...HOLLY ..KRAYZIE FOR KEEPING ME MAXED..DARTH FOR COMING BACK AND DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST LOOTING TOH'S!! AND CATCHING PEOPLE GETTING MAXED!!!

ALSO THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO OFFERED TO HELP ..ALSO WHOEVER HELPED..I OWE YOU ALL ONE..JUST MESSAGE ME WHEN YOU NEED IT :)"

There was also a few messages from a few of Pete's family members, offering their congratulations. PETES_BITCH had this to add:

"I would like to say congrats to my daddy on his victory and all of those whom supported him last round."

And Foxy said this:

"That was an awesome round!
A big congrats to Pete on a very much deserved win!!! :)
(All hail uhlinger! Lmfao!)"

And Little_Caesar added this:

"Round end was crazy seemed like everyone was goin for it but i'm glad we pushed pete to a win, well deserved"

Finishing in an admirable second place both in Level 4 and the family ranks was KILLEMALL and his family.  They also picked up a handy 9 individual ranks including PETE_HAS_TINY_NUTS first in level 3 and Lookn second in level 1.  They also did very nicely in the killer ranks, BOB_PROBERT, joined their family in last few hours of the round after taking out a total of 41 million DUs, which ensured him first in the supporter kills.  barbie-girl took second with 19 million kills.  9minds and I_GeT_DuZ took second and third in the free kills with 3.2 and 1.9 million kills respectively.

It was no surprise that I got a few messages from this family, both before the round ended and at the start of the new round.  KILLEMALL had this to say:

"Well here it is good round thanks to everyone who helped we fell a little short but got some decent ranks out of it!

Congrats to the winner and gl too all of emw in the future!

time for me to go away for deployment ill be hoping in here and there checking things out kill a few here and there .....

KILL KILL KILL THAT IS ALL IT WILL BE SORRY TO FRIENDS AND FOES! EVERYONE MUST DIE!" 

MILLIMETER_PETER added this:

Very fun and exciting.

Everything worked out as was suppose to except for Mr.Pete getting round. But that's ok long as TD as a whole is done getting ranks. Maybe in a couple rounds or so people will start to realise their better off without Pete."

Zoot-Zoot had this to say just before rounds end:

After a strong round from day 1, Mercs finished nicely taking 3rd and 6th family spots, as well as a handful of individual ranks, including Master and THE_PROBLEM third and fourth in level 4 and Sterling_Archer taking top spot in the sub ranks.  Mercs member esIks had this to say on completion of the round:

After a reasonably quiet round Projects finished in fourth family spot, with DOC taking second in level 3 and Delfino second in level 2.FoundHell took out seventh family spot with 8 individual ranks including DeadMoney third in level 1. Vegas ranked two families in 8th and 9th spots, with HellzJackAzz taking 5th in level 4 and Monte and MSG taking second and third in the sub levels. Rounding off the family top ten was unknown family, BLOODCLAN, sneaking into the prizes with a very low networth of 88 billion.

So there you have it folks, one of the busiest ends of round we have seen in a long time, lets hope there is lots more of this to come! Make sure you are strapped in, becuase the road ahead isn't looking like getting smoother anytime soon!  Its never ending action here at EMW!
