The first family to jump out of the gates and make a statement was Illuminati, quite surprising for a family with only eight members.  But make a statement they did, and they currently sit in top family spot with a very healthy networth of over 58 trillion.

I spoke briefly with XVZ from Illuminati about their round so far and he had this to say:

"So far this round our family has done well by being active in a round that really doesnt work in our favor since we are such a small group. Im sure by the time you read this other families will be amongst the top of the heap.

That being said, we are taking advantage of this round by simply adjusting our schedules to try and be on the site more to play poker, chat on the boards, and just get back to enjoying the game. It would be very easy for me to complain about ANOTHER capped round but I know there are people who do enjoy it and it gives newer players the opportunity to by a cheap package and contribute more to their respective family...However, i hope we dont see another capped round for the rest of the year LMAO !!!!"


Currently holding second and fifth place in the family ranks is Mercs.  They had a few players build a day or two into the round and despite their ongoing war with FH and DG have still managed to amass a total of 51 trill between their two families.  W_LO_FH, from Mercs had this to say:

Terrordome also have had an impressive start to the round, with four families firmly placed in the top ten, with a combined net of over 80 trillion.  They are definitely looking nicely placed to finish the round off strongly.  

There are also a few families that seem to be holding back on collecting.  Projects families seem to be waiting in the shadows for the time to be right. Vegas has a few families sitting just out of the top ten, and Devils_Gate also seem to be holding back as well.

Don of DG, DarkStarr, sent me the following message:

Although Shawn was reluctant to give up the meaning of the latin statement in his comment, he did let me know that the comment on his profile meant "seize the beer".  A statement I am sure many of us can relate to!

Sheepshagger, also from DG, had this to say:

"I killed Goody, of possible "America's Got Talent" fame (He hasn't quite made it in yet, but he assures me he will enter) in the first DG rap battle. Chalk it up as a win to the crackers of the world."


Although FoundHell also are yet to hit the family rankings for the round, they have definitely been busy on the killing front.  Flissy is currently holding second supporter killer spot with 22 million kills, behind loner killer, Egon_Spengler, who has 29 million kills.  Sitting in third spot is Loot_Me with 14.8 million kills.  Loot_Me sent this brief comment:

"Weeeeeeeeeeeee and I see dead people lol

thanks for your time!"


jezza, from FH, is leading the free killer spots with close to 15 million kills. Alphonse_Capone from OldSChool is sitting second in free kills with 9.8 million, and W_LO_FH is sitting third with 9 million kills.

With over three days left in the round, there is sure to be more fun ahead of us, more blood spilt and more twists and turns.  We all know there is never a dull moment on EMW, so strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride!
