*Round 288 All Wrapped Up* |

Round 288 started out slow, with no real moves from anyone. There was loners out and about, dishing out 0s all over the place, with 0s showing up in nearly every city in the game. It wasn't until a few days into the round that we actually saw any big builds for the purpose of collecting. Making the first move was MaxwellHouse from TD, building to over 6 million DUs and 11 million ops. From that point on the coffee was flowing freely in Philly (excuse the pun!) as a team of maxers kept him safe around the clock, ensuring that he was still at the top of the leaderboard when end of round ticked around.

Lets take up where we left off at the end of the midround report...TD, Projects and Mercs had yet to make a move, and Boring_People, Illuminati and FoundHell were sitting at the top of the ranks, and the round was still looking like anyones. In true EMW style, it didn't stay that long way for long. With a few days left in the round Projects made their move and propelled KILLEMALL to the top of the EMW leaderboard. |

We all know the story of Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory and the little boy Charlie who gets a chance to experience the wonders of a larger than life lollie making factory. Well the Willy Wonka's of EMW (aka the staff) gave everyone the chance to get lost in the magical word of a Golden Ticket Round, where reserves where plenty, prizes were abundant and shiny trophies lined the walls. It was only a privilged few who got their hands on a ticket but these players weren't in search of chocolate, they were hunting for cash, and lots of it. |

Midway through Round 266 and its looking like we will be on an interesting last 4 days. At this stage of the round, whilst we are seeing a few families jumping to the top of the global leaderboard, we aren't seeing anyone yet in a position that screams "this round is mine". |

When we left off at the end of the midround report, we saw TD and Mercs continuing their fight, Bubba sitting nicely at 20 million DUs and 5 million ops, looking ready to destroy anyone that stood in his way. Misfits were causing the usual amount of mayhem, and Projects were sitting quietly in the wings waiting for the right time to pounce. With a few days left in the round DOC from Projects decided it was time to make his intentions clear to all concerned and he built big and collected large. |
